CARDIFF CHOIRS INFORMATION EXCHANGE

We have agreed to circulate details of each other's concerts to our own members. This will help build awareness of the full range of choral performance in Cardiff.

The idea is simple! Send an email with a WORD document advertising your concert to those on the contact list and they will forward it to each member of their choir thereby reaching around 550 people and their families with an interest in choral music.

This protects the confidentiality of each individual's email address as this is retained within the individual choirs.

Here is a calendar list of future concerts. By keeping it up to date we should be more able to avoid clashes of repertoire and clashes of timing:

Tuesday 6th  -  All Saints Church Penarth - Cavatina in joint Concert with the Estonian choir Kadrina Segakoor

Saturday 10th - Canton Chorus' Twentieth Anniversary Concert  to include Kodály's Missa Brevis - St John the Evangelist, Canton.

Sunday 11th  - St Augustine's Church, Penarth - In Our Time - a programme of contemporary choral and organ music - Cantemus

Sunday 18th - Welsh Choral Prom  - Verdi Requiem - BBC National Chorus of Wales, Cardiff Polyphonic Choir & Ardwyn Singers

Saturday 30th -  Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle  - St George's Brandon Hill, Bristol - Cardiff Polyphonic

Sunday 5th - St Germans Church, Adamsdown - Carol Concert in support of Bobath Cymru (3pm) - Polyphonic

Thursday 9th - venue tbc - Carol Concert in support of Cancer Research Wales - Polyphonic
